Explore a collection of 70 MIDI files specifically designed for our Kontakt library «Real Percusión Andina».


This MIDI pack focuses on producing authentic rhythms in the caporal style, with grooves featuring characteristic instruments such as güira, hi-hats, toms, bells, and more, providing a professional and versatile rhythmic foundation. With a simple drag and drop in your DAW, you can integrate ready-to-use rhythmic patterns, as well as the freedom to edit each MIDI file to customize your compositions and experiment with new musical ideas.

 
Within the compressed .zip file, you will find six folders: Intro, Stops, Rhythm 1, Rhythm 2, Rhythm 3, and Rhythm 4, which contain the MIDI files of the caporal rhythms or grooves.
This library has been designed for the latest update of «Real Percusión Andina» (version 1.1), which includes new sounds such as the hi-hat, snare, congas, bongos, and an agogo, thus expanding the creative possibilities.


When working with our MIDI files, you will be able to understand how the kick, toms, and güira interact within each rhythmic structure, and how these elements combine to form a complete caporal groove. This reference will allow you not only to comprehend the dynamics of each instrument, but also to easily break down the rhythmic patterns and explore how variations can create different grooves and textures. Additionally, thanks to the reference MIDI files, you will have the ability to create and compose your own rhythms, experiment with new ideas, and refine your techniques, making this library an invaluable tool for both beat creation and the learning and improvement of your compositional skills.

This collection was developed in Arequipa, Peru, in 2024, by Mike Valderrama, in response to requests from our community, seeking professional tools for producing music in the caporal style.
